Exporting car from US to Canada which was bought after the Soft Landing

Does anyone know how the cbsa estimate the cost of the vehicle . This year Sept i got the 2015 rogue for 14k USD with taxes and dealer fee. Last week Carmax guys offered 8k USD for the same car with 3 k more miles on it. Will they still consider the price we bought for anything else ?

You can just put an approx price checking it on Kbb. They do not calculate exact price. It is ok to be on higher side. When you declare your goods, give your car details and put the approx price of the vehicle. All the look for is if the vehicle is on your name and does not have any pending loans and the regular paper work needed for your import.
