Expiry of Express Entry

Express Entry profile is valid for 1 year.

So, if someone put up his express entry profile on 1 Jan, 2024 then it should expire on 31 Dec 2024.

My question is that in meanwhile this person has landed in Canada on work permit and has updated his details in express entry profile on 1 Mar 2024, then will his express entry profile will now expire on 28 Feb 2025 or will it still expire on 31 Dec 2024.

Expiry will remain the same unless you withdraw the profile and resubmit again.
