expiring work permit while in process!!

hi guys!
my work permit will expire this coming july 27,2010 but i already applied for a new work permit and its on process i think,,but the cic website says it will take 61 days to process a new work permit for the same employer,,,my question is:should i have to apply for a restoration or just wait for the new work permit to arrive,,,,

does anyone know how to contact vegreville office???

As long as you applied for an extension before your work permit expired, you can continue to work with implied status. You don't have to apply for restoration, and there is no contact email/phone for Vegreville.
