My wife's PR card will be getting expire in Oct 10. Due to my job in middle east, last year she moved here with me. Currently she is in Canada and she did clear her Citizenship exam but they need more information... so oath will be delayed. my questions.

1) Can we just apply for her PR card renewal and once it is received her sister can mail it to us?
2) Should I apply for urgent PR card renewal as we have to travel by Sep 23rd?

Please advise what should I do?

Yes. But while entering Canada you need PR card or PRTD.

there is a chance that CIC requests in person collection of the PR. in this scenario, you need to apply for PRTD to be able to fly to Canada. the current processing time for PRTD in middle east is around 60 days! I believe urgent processing is better for you.

to apply urgent, is there any different procedure. I tried to look online but didn't see any separate application for urgent processing?

how can I apply for urgent?

I believe you really need it to board a flight to Canada. Once in Canada, they can look up your status via other means

Hi , we are a family who landed in Canada in 2004 , we gave our case to a consultant in Canada who told us it is ok for us to live outside Canada because there was no work in Canada , so he made everything such getting an address for us , we lived outside Canada and he took an appointment for citizenship exam and we passed , when we enter the oath they told us that they want to check our residency in Canada , and it appears lately that they caught our consultant for fraud , now we want to live for good in Canada and renew our PR card , so what do you suggest to do it and what are the chances for it ? Any advice?

At this point you should hire an excellent immigration lawyer to represent you since you have engaged in fraud in an attempt to gain citizenship. In addition to citizenship being refused, you may find your PR status revoked. CIC will hold you responsible for the fraud since you would have signed all of the paperwork at the time your application for citizenship was submitted.

The chances are probably low this is going to work out in your favour. Again, hire a very good lawyer.

What do you mean "he took an appointment for citizenship exam and we passed"? How is this possible?
I suspect that you are all in deep, deep trouble...

It seems like you willingly went along with everything the consultant was doing.

You can certainly hire an expensive lawyer, but really I think the most likely situation here is your citizenship is refused, PR status revoked, and you are banned from Canada for some time.
