I recently posted in another thread our current situtation as we decide if we remain in SE Asia or re-locate back to Canada (https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/prtd-expiration-and-humanitarian-grounds.720406/).
If we do risk flying back and spending for hotel quarantine prior to my wifes PRTD expiring, does anyone know the timeline for renewal of an expired PR card as my understanding is we must remain in Canada during that period. Original card was issued in 2011 and expired in 2016 but she has continue to meet her RO as she has been with me as I work outside Canada and many PRTD's have been issued since then on trips back to Canada.
Any indicative timelines from past year are helpful, cheers.
