Experience with Reconsideration

What is your experience with asking for reconsideration after your PR had been refused?

They received my letter in the middle of last week and I have not heard anything from CIC, yet.

I've read of people on here who had a closed case re-opened due to error, so if they truly made a mistake it's not hopeless.

I wonder how long this is taking. I feel like my time is running out, I am pretty stressed because of all this.

You'd be better off asking this question in the Express Entry section of the forum. However based on what I've seen, reconsideration has taken week or months - certainly not days.

Hello, i have got refusal due to not submitting credential assessment. Now i have sent them n they said to my imm consultant on july 7, they are putting it for reconsideration. But i have not received any message yet. Could you please tell me how long they take to reconsider and what exactly they do in reconsideration. Thanks
