I wish someone can help me with this. I have foreign experience and I have submitted the experience letter from my company for my study permit application. However, I worked in my family business and I was paid in cash, so I don't have anything apart from my experience letter from my company. Maybe if I try I can get the a statement letter from them stating that I was paid in cash during my tenure. Currently I am thinking about not submitting my experience letter since I am not able to provide additional documents in case if IRCC asks for it, I don't want them to think that I provided false information .My question is, is it mandatory to submit the experience certificate which I used in my Study permit visa application while I am filing for my PR? Can I just give up those points during my PR application?

If you don't want to claim points, then you could just put it to your personal history instead of work history. That way you are not claiming any points for it, hence, wouldn't be counted as false information/misrepresentation.

But since you got paid in cash, you must have filed taxes or was your situation very casual where your family business just paid you here and there without any record?
