Just for info assuming everyone knows that CICNEWS website is not associated with the official IRCC/CIC immigration websites and whilst can be a useful info source people should keep that in mind that is a third party site. IRCC websites have addresses www.cic.gc.ca or www.canada.ca.

As said above, cicnews.com is not associated with IRCC.

As of right now, the only Canadian locations listed are Ports of Entry and only people applying for work or study permits at the border can give biometrics at a POE.

Nobody can guarantee. It doesn’t seem like you really have a choice if you need biometrics done.
Agree, entry on visitor visa is never guaranteed and is always upto CBSA officer.

What are the paperwork which we can keep, which would be seen positively by the CBSA officer?
e.g.:
- Would a letter from MP help?
- Would the flight ticket to return to home country in few months help?
- Any other suggestions?

A letter from an MP doesn't count for anything. Flight tickets would be good.

Documents showing strong ties to their home country (e.g. property ownership, employment, etc.).
