It's easy, just slip a few 100$ bills under your passport copy. Make sure you don't put over 300$, the visa may arrive to your home before you are back from the post office :)

DUHHH!!!! ... Ukie r u kiddin me man.
Ok for u lets make that 500$ but make sure they r 100$*5 bills as officer only take denomination upto 100$.
And also put the bills in a envelope and place it below ur CEC fee confirmation receipt so they can add the 500$ to ur profile

Awesome thread! We should make this post a sticky subject! :)

In a serious note: Current average processing time is 13 months. But there are instances while end-to-end process took 8-9 months. Every application is different, and you should cross your fingers once you dropped your app kit :)

Guys , any idea for how long does ecas show "Application received" after I get my AOR number and email which says file will be transferred to ottawa

It will be like this until it gets into processing and medical results received. Based on current times, expect to wait for MR anywhere between 6-8 months.

No.. thats not right..

I have seen cases where people gave $500 cash and they received Canadian citizenship..

If you also submit your passport with the application, they will replace it with a Canadian Passport.. Everything, just one shot!
But don't give more than $500. My friend sent $600 and he got a Canadian passport with $100 cashback..

m not kidding..

hahahahahahahah I am totally enjoying this convo ... il post it on the main window and quote the guys who asked this question

yes definitely.. its a very important information and most people are unaware of it..

For people who have dependents,

You have to insert additional cash accordingly:
$500 for each family member of the principal applicant who is 22 years of age or older, or is less than 22 years of age and is a spouse or common-law partner.
$200 for each family member of the principal applicant who is less than 22 years of age and is not a spouse or common-law partner.

I know they are asking for too much but that's the only way out to get everything.
Note: All prices are in Canadian dollars.

What are the options for paying the money? Do they accept credit cards/online payments/bank drafts? :P
