Hi Everyone,
I am sitting at 430 points with Canadian Master degree and a canadian job (NO LMIA). So, I will be preparing my IELTS exam to improve my CRS points from 430 to up.
In the meanwhile, i started working on reference letters. My question is:
I have worked in 4 different companies so far.
Company A: July 2013 to October 2013. (Salary paid in cash)
Company B: Nov 13 - Oct -14 (Cash)
Company C: Oct 14- June 15. (Cash)
Company D: June 15 - Aug-16 (paid through bank).

1. For A,B,C i can't provide pay slips. Only reference letter + experience letter, is that enough ? For D, i will check, and may be able to provide salary slips as well. Please provide your suggestion on it !

2. I am a civil engineer, my NOC is 2131 - Class A. I got Canadian study visa back in Aug-2016 and since then i am here and completed master degree. At time of visa application i have provided CIC with my experience letters of company A,B,C. I will provide the same now as well for PR. But those letters have different designation and different roles & responsibility comparing to NOC 2131 - Civil engineer. Now, In reference letters (which i will try to get now) i will match the responsibilities as per NOC 2131 for each company (A,B,C). I will also list the more appropriate title as per NOC 2131. Can i change the designation now in reference letter than what it was in experience letter? Is it ok ?
Do i need to provide LOE stating why my roles & responsibilities are different than experience letters ?

What matters the most, responsibilities or Designation or both? in order to get your experience recognized.

3. At the time of PR application (sometime in future), although i will not be claiming any points for my canadian job (as it is non-LMIA), But still i need to mention, that i am working etc.

Your valuable suggestions are highly appreciated.

Thanks,

1. Salary slips are optional if you can get salary mentioned on your Reference letter. Even if that is not possible, you can mention in LOE that salary slips are not there. There is no problem in that. Reference letter is mandatory.
2. Sometimes you have designation A however you are working on other roles as well. So, you can mention this in your reference letter.

E.g., X was employed in our Company ABC from This to This on designation XXXX and his roles and responsibilities are co-related to designation YYYY

Thanks for your reply.
Point 1 is clear to me. As per my understanding, i will mention my salary on the reference letter and that is fine to go with. I will add explanation in LOE in regards to that.
Point 2. Should i keep the original designation to what it is on experience letter already or can i change the designation as per NOC?
As per your suggestion, if i am not mistaken, it means that i can keep the old designation and i should have written a sentence in the reference letter signed/stamped by the company. That ABC designation is similar to XYZ (NOC des) and then definitely the roles and responsibilities mentioned underneath will justify the above sentence. Right?

Correct. Your designation should be in the NOC list.
