Hi,
Did you went to Canada through Special program or through privately sponsored refugees??
When did they issued to you Canada visa and when did you had your exit interview?
Most of the people here are just waiting for their flights.
It's been more than 2 months that we are waiting for our flights after exit interview in Islamabad Airport.
Please share your experience in detail s.

We have G5 private sponsorship and medical was done 6 months back and exit interview was done in December. We haven't heard anything either from IOM or Embassy to what the next step would be. Anyone with information regarding this scenario please reply. Thanks

Today i got a phone call from iom and the asked some questions for exit permit.

Same here, not sure whats the purpose of the call, even we had done exit interviews. Is police check last step)

No flights etc just they said exit permit will be on way ,, it can still take months as the process is so slow..

Yesterday many applicants (they were with us on exit interview on 18 December) received a call from IOM and they asked some questions from them for making their exit permit. We had the exit interview on 18 December and we have completed all the previous steps but yesterday we didn't receive any call from IOM. We too got a call, but what is the purpose of this call?? How long to wait for flights ? When exit permits will be issued? Is police checks still expected after exit interview?
