Hi, I have an exclusion order from last year, but it has expired now. I received it when I was driving across. I will be visiting by plane and have a return ticket and everything. I don't have any intentions of staying any longer than my ticket. I was just wondering if there is anything that I need to expect or bring when I am at customs at the airport? (I couldn't seem to get a hold of anyone through the Canadian websites by phone to help me, so I'm inquiring here) Thanks.

a) If you were issued an Exclusion Order and

12 months have passed since you left Canada and
you have a Certificate of Departure (IMM 0056B) showing the date you left Canada
you do not need an ARC. You may return to Canada subject to normal examination at the port of entry.

At worst they will prolly question you more... like they will prolly ask if you have ever been denied entry, don't lie they know its a test. heck you may get the nicest IO out there and not have a problem. have your return ticket in hand. anything showing proof of ties to your home country, lease, pay-stubs, proof of employment, bank statements, utility bills etc... the order makes it alittle harder but not impossible. GL!

Great, thanks for the advice. Yeh, I'll just bring a pay stub also I guess. I have a work card and I also go back to school next month so I have a school badge as well- im in a vocational program. I just want to be prepared. Also, is it a bad idea to want to bring my wii (use at the place im staying) or labtop on my check in luggage- I just don't know if they will search my things and be like why did you bring these? -- I have a return ticket, travel insurance stating the dates im staying and leaving, and I also have a shuttle ticket for when I return thats paid to pick me up.

I also do not have my certificate of departure anymore. Do I need it or will they have it on file?

They should have it on file...
