Good day to ya all

Here is the situation :

1.Dont have status.
2.Exclusion order (for 1 year)
3.waiting on a sponsorship app. since Augest 2009 it was transfered to the Etobicoke office in March 2010 !!
4.Still waiting !!!

WHAT A MESS !!

Any ideas on what will happen if the app is approved with regards to the exclusion order????

Please feel free to comment on the situation and please let me know your experiance if you were/are in a similiar situation

Thanks in advance

Base on what I understand you're out of status right? if so
I understand you already have your application in process
already. Once a decision is made on it, you should be alright.

Hey Balo

I blame may rep for the situation im in right now hes the one who dragged us into this!!.

Here is what happened I was denied visa when entering Canada because the officer thought I did not state my true intent of coming here I signed a paper of leaving voluntarily anyways before leaving I went to a lawyer seeking consultation and he said that you are here to see ur boyfriend whom u love for a long time which was correct and we also had marriage plans on our mind so he advised to get married and to file an appeal in the same time we would file for sponsorship so we did evrything according to the lawyers consultation. We love each other we wanted to stay together we have been together since university (more the 5 years) so we decided to go through with it together.

Because we went through with the appeal the consequence if we lost was the exclusion order so we lost !!! :'(

sorry if Im boring you with all the details but thats how it happened

Thanks

1. suggest you leave, before CBSA removes you.
2. If you wish to re-enter before the year is up, then you will have to include an ARC (Authorization to Return to Canada) $400

You certainly wouldn't want to make things worse by being "removed".

Don't leave the country just now, wait for your interview. If they were to deport you they would have done so a while ago.

At this interview you might be asked to sign a paper stating that you are going to leave the country within the next weeks or so. Or you will be taken to detention. Or maybe, some good news.

Possible administrative deferral of removal? The Exclusion order should make them ineligible but I saw another case where they deferred. Strange as it doesn't follow written policy but CBSA seems to be doing it this way.
