Requirements for Canada study permit:
Canada study permit requires a letter of acceptance from the designated institute from where the person has to pursue his studies. In addition to this, it requires minimum funds depending on the circumstances.
There are certain activities which do not need Canada study permit:
- If you are attending any preschool in Canada you do not need Canada study permit
- If you are going to Canada for any Distance learning program in that case also you do not need Canada study permit
- Visiting Canada for any audit course also does not need Canada study permit
- If you are taking any course in the addition to your tour packages again in that case you need not to take Canada study permit
- If you are taking or undergoing a course which is not academic or professional and can be completed within the period of 6 months you need not to take Canada study permit
- If you are a member of any Armed force from any country then you can study in Canada for a period more than 6 months that too without Canada study permit
If you are a family member or if you are accompanying any foreign representatives who have been accredited by global affairs Canada in that case you can stay in Canada and study there without Canada study permit either for a period of fewer than 6 months or for extending 6 months.
What Are The Eligibility Requirements For Canada Study Permit?
- You need an acceptance letter from DLI
- You must so capable that your pocket will support first-year tuition fees along with the transportation and living charges
- The Canada Immigration authorities must be satisfied that you are there in Canada only till your tenure is not completed after the completion of your tenure of studies you will leave the place
- You must be admissible to Canada and in that case, your past records, police records, etc. might be checked
- Student’s proof
- Past 4 months bank statement
- Bank draft which can be converted into Canadian dollars
- Payment slip of tuition fees and housing fees
- Letter from school
