ETL/Datawarehouse/Business Intelligence Developers - NOC ?

Hi Guys,

People who are involved in Data Warehouse , ETL(Extract, Transform and Load) in Business Intelligence. For which NOC Code you are opting please suggest.. I am an ETl Developer, don't know what I have to choose?

I too have the same profile. Im using NOC 2173 Software engineers and designers as i had some experience in production support too along with informatica

But my engineering is Industrial Engineering. Can I apply under 2172?

I have a similar experience (Data warehousing and ETL) and have sent an email to HRSDC to confirm the NOC and they endorsed me to apply for 2172.

Hi,

I am a DW developer with 10+ years of experience in ETL development and couple of years of project management experience as well.
Anyone can guide me to chose the exact NOC code for me? I am confused between 2171 and 2173. It certainly does not look to be 2172!

Emailing NC-NOC-CNP-GD2@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca did not yield satisfactory result. It looks they are not technically equipped and hence suggesting without much informed knowledge.

Any response would be helpful.
