Hello u am trying to visit Canada but I was having a little trouble with the ETa. Upon filling out the form I notice it say "Find this code on your passport information page - see the field named "Code", "Issuing country", "Authority" or "Country code". On my passport the code is GBR but the authority says Turks and caicos and this is confusing me. Can anyone help me with this?

If you have the option, enter Turks and Caicos
One more question I applied for an ETa last month and i had the approve letter but cudnt get on my flight because the airline was saying it is invalid, sunday I applied for another but with the same GBR code and now I am seeing 2 ETas when I check the status will that be a problem for me to travel and would be able to tell me why I was getting an invalid eta from the airlines when trying to check in?

You need to select the code 'GBD: UK - British overseas territories' and not 'GBR: UK - British citizen' when you apply for an eTA

What is the 3-letter country code on your passport information page? Is it GBR or GBD?

What codes did you select for your two eTA applications?
The three letter code on my passport is GBR the two eta had gbr on them but only one was showing invalid until I made the second one which showed up in the check status tool, but at the airport with the first one it was showing invalid. Idk if the airlines uses the same tool that we use to check but that's what happened so I made a second one nd now I'm seeing the first one as valid

Not sure why the airlines staff said your eTA was invalid. One reason: May be there was a passport number or a name mismatch between the eTA letter and your passport

So once it is showing in the eta check status tool that means its valid?

You would either get an eTA approval (most cases this happens within a few minutes of applying) or IRCC could ask for additional documents.

Have you checked if the previous eTA had a mismatch for your passport number, name, etc?
