ETA - Arrested for drink driving at the roadside but blew under at the Station

Discussion in 'Visa Offices in Europe' started by walker99, Jan 26, 2016.

  1. Hi, I'm worried about filling the ETA in correctly.

The question from the ETA is -
Have you ever committed, been arrested for, been charged with or convicted of any criminal offence in any country?

The help document says answer YES if you ever committed, been charged with or convicted.... It doesn't mentioned arrested.

My background was that I was arrested at the roadside in 2005 when the breathalyzer turned red. I was taken to the Police station where the machine said I was under. I was therefore not charged and released to go.

I wondered what anyone else's experience was and what I should enter.
    Thanks in advance.
