Hi there,

I've been approved for a working holiday visa and my eTA was also approved, however, it was approved with my secondary passport.

I have dual citizenship and I want my eTA approved with my primary passport as I assume it is my primary passport that my visa has been approved with.

I've tried submitting a form on the IEC website but find it to be extremely unhelpful and my question is never answered.

Has this happened to anyone else and, if so, who did you contact to have the problem rectified?

Hi

Not really sure why you want it changed. You can simply travel with both passports.

There is no point in contacting IRCC. Just apply for an eTA with your other passport.

As Canuck says just get an ETA on the passport that does not have one as its only 7 dollars after all.

Waste of time trying to contact IRCC and doubtful they will do anything given you have a valid ETA with one of the passports you must have listed and an ETA with passport is only used to board a plane anyway not to enter Canada.
