I was issued G Driver's license as the Ontario DriveTest approved my 4 years of experience in VA - USA. 10 days after the DriveTest sent me a mail saying that because that I issued a G2 DL in the middle of a short visit that I made in 2019. They asked me to do the road test once the lockdown is over as the US experience before that doesn't count.
My question; I a already made my car insurance as a G DL holder and paid 2 months to the insurance company. Should I contact the insurance company and inform them about the change ( the DL has the same No) ? or should I wait and take the road test which will take up to 4 months due to the COVID19 lockdown? Please advise!
