Entry to Canada after OWP refused

Hi everyone,

quick question, I have a work permit, my spouse visited me for 3 months with a TRV last summer and she wanted to come back next year. She applied for an OWP but it got refused unfortunately, can she still visit me with her TRV even though she won't be able to work? Or could she get into troubles at the border because of this refusal?

Hi

Yes, she can visit you if she has a valid TRV. She should be fine at the border, though there is never a guarantee of entry.
