Hi all.
I have a question regarding my letter of introduction (LOI) and visa requirement.
I live in a country where Visa is required in order to enter Canada. I have a 10-year multi-entry visitor V1 visa, which still has a few years left.
I recently got approved and received my IMM5812 (letter of introduction). The letter says I have been issued a visa along with the visa. But I did not receive a request to submit my passport, so I did not get any new visa, except my previous issued V1 visitor visa.
My questions are:
- Is this something that is normal, i.e., if you already have a valid visitor visa, you won't be issued a new visa along with LOI?
- Is it possible at all for me to enter Canada with my previously issued but still active V1 visa along with my LOI?
- My spouse is on V1 visa, can she travel with me to enter Canada?
