“I a couple of doubts. I got my second permit extension approved 10 days back. Vaid till 31st March next year. Hoping to get it in hand within next week. After I get the physical copy I'm planning to apply for my TRV. Will I get it stamped as student Visa again until next year March or will I get it stamped as visitors visa until my passport expiry date?
After getting my TRV, I'm planning to go back home for a month. My course is getting over by aug 15. I'm planning to fly by August 20 and return back to Canada by September end or first week of October. Is it safe to travel back? I'll be having a valid TRV nonetheless irrespective if I get students visa I'll have it till March 31, 2024 or if it's visitors visa then till my passport expiry which is in 2030. Will I be questioned by the immigration officers at the airport asking why I'm back because both my courses are over? What answer should I give him/her if at all I'm questioned?
Final question is when can I apply for my PGWP? I'll apply by August end in India itself after I get my transcripts or I'll wait until I get back to Canada and then apply by September end or October first week??”
