Hi there. I hope someone can answer.
I want to Leave South Africa and work and Live in Canada. Period.
I have a South African National Diploma in Civil Engineering / Technician.
After working for about 4 years in that field, after qualifying, I changed my job direction. 15 years ago I went into Project Management in particular building inspections, building maintenance and interior shopfitting. I have a total of 13 practical years in this field alone and currently have been running my own contracting business for the last two years. As I am no longer particularly involved in Civil Engineering....Can I still apply to enter Canada as a skilled immigrant using my Civil Eng Diploma? AND... would I be compounded to work as a Civil Engineering technician in that field of my qualification?

Hi there,
Whatever you have mentioned seems like u can still apply as skilled workers class. All your experience is pasrt of civil engineering. building management, project management, interior etc all comes in diferent subclasses of civil engineering. Next thing I will suggest you is go through following link:
