Hi,
I got my COPR stamped on my Indian passport and am travelling to US on my B1/B2 Visa. Can I enter Canada using my COPR by flying from US? Is it so that you can enter Canada on your COPR from your resident country only(which in my case is India) . Any help will be highly appreciated here..
Thanks
Shreya

Once you have landed as a PR you can only use the COPR at a US / Canada land border. In order to fly as a landed PR from anywhere to Canada you need a PR card or PRTD.

There is no rule that says you must make your initial PR landing starting from your home country so sure you could fly to the US and then fly up to Canada to complete your initial landing. It is not as though everyone has the luxury of direct flights to Canada from India.
