Enquiry about apply for Visit Visa with current general situation

Hi Everyone,

Is the current period and situation recommend for applying for a Visit Visa with my family to Canada?
I learned IRCC closed and accepting the regular Visit Visa requests!!


Kindly Advise/Suggest the best way that I can apply for the same with a high potential to get approval?

Visit visa applications are as far as know still being processed although depending which country you are from there may be issues with getting biometrics and applying if applying through a VAC many of which are closed. Also note that only immeditae family or certain extended family of citizens or PRs and selected temporary residents can travel at this time. Non essential travel such as for tourism is not considered essential and not allowed currently

Also note that for some countries applications have a 7-8 month processing time

Many thanks for your response, and absolutely it makes sense that currently, they will not consider pure visit or trust visas request, Will wait until 2012 Q1.
