once u r land in toronto , u fill the form for the ERC committee. and the erc committee will determine how many papers u need to attend to get the peng. one may get waived and one may attend the exam depends on the interview. but two exams are mandatory for all and this is law related.

there are some institutions who provide assistance for this also , if any one attend one of those , please help us in this forum

Hi,
Nice post Qorax, I appreciate your good efforts and those of others providing much needed help.
I am foreign trained mechanical engineer and would appreciate if some one provide info about some bridging program in the province of Quebec.
Particularly I am interested in some short courses or apprenticeship etc which help the entry to job market as Mechanical Engineer.

Thanks in advance,

Baiyang

hello!!!

My husband is a Mechanical Engineer with over 20 years of related experience...mostly gained in Middle East.
On November we are moving to Alberta, most probably Edmonton.
I would like to ask.....should there be a needfor him to request for foreign credentials evaluation from IQAS to apply for odd jobs in Alberta while waiting to be certified by Alberta Trades & Engineering (ATEN)?...since this one (ATEN) will only accept applications from Canadian Citizen or landed Immigrants.
Thanks!
