Employment status for passport application

Hi I just saw that we need to provide our employment status during last two years for the passport application. I only worked for 3 months or something and then was laid off because of covid. So most of the time I didn’t work. Does that affect and would they refuse to give me my passport? Thanks.

Nope. As a Canadian citizen, it is your right to apply for a passport. Unemployment is not grounds for refusal.
