May I ask for an advice?
my first job title was something like "hr management" but in practice, I coordinated promotional projects by hiring, training, supervising temporary staff and providing reports to clients. Can I claim this experience to be under 1124 NOC (Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations) as it actually was in advertising (the company itself is also an advertising agency)? I was thinking to ask my former manager to change my actual job title and write something like 'promotional project coordinator'. However, I'm worrying that under a background check it might be revealed by requesting the information from a tax authority.
During a background check, do they contact any tax-related organisations? Should I omit this experience and claim points for only pure marketing roles?
