What should I do if I cannot remember all of my past jobs in the last 10 years? I have a bunch that I worked part-time at or temporarily to make up extra money while working full time. Since I am in the U.S., and Pennsylvania is an "at will" employment state and employers around here only are required to keep records for 7 years, I was never offered a "contract" or saved past pay stubs from them. If they are not listed, can they find out about them during checks and say I wasn't truthful on the app?

Thanks in advance...

Hi ajzimm,

You can only mention that you have worked full time and produce a reference letter for the same. You do not need to mention about part time jobs while you were working as a full time.

Incase if you cannot submit reference letter for full time then prepare an affidavit for it explaining the complete situation and get it attested from notary public.

Thank you so much for you input. I was just worried they would show up some how on a background check, and then my application being declined because I did not disclose all my jobs.

Thanks again

I am not declaring all my jobs either.... Just the main full-time jobs done in the past 5 years. I have been working since 5 years only on a full-time basis. So, I'm not going to go through the hassle of gathering up reference letters from my part-time employers..
