Hi, I completed my 2 yrs on Dec 23rd, yesterday. I am planning to ask for employee reference letter today. I have all documents ready and I am ready to submit application today once I receive the letter which will reach CIO office only on 28th. My concern is, is employee reference letter date too tight to submit, I mean my 2 years is just done and i have the letter the next day. Is that a problem? Application reaches 4 days later due to holidays and I think there is enough buffer for that.

Please let me know if I can submit with such tight dead lines or its better to have some buffer time. I dont want my application to fall under new years quota.

I did same thing. I completed 2 years and same day sent the application. Should be ok I believe

Should always leave a bit of a buffer. But if all of your paperwork is in order, I dont see why it would be a problem. If you fulfilled the 2 year requirement, which you did, and you can clearly prove that you have the required hours...you are good to go. Its a tight deadline for mail though..

On the other hand, if you had been working for 40 hours a week, the total working hours' requirement will be fully met. If 37.5 hours a week, always better to maintain a buffer of 1 week from the date of completing 02 years.
