Today I am very happy to get update on E-CAS On-Line Services.
My PR card was sent on December 14, 2016.

My timeline is:

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on September 28, 2015.
-. We started processing your application on February 11, 2016.
2. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on December 14, 2016.

IRCC didn't mention about secondary review. I just meet minimum obligation, only 733 days in Canada within 5 years.

So, I wait about 15 months to get PR card.

Hi everyone

Need some advice and information about pr card renewal. Why is secondary review done? Is it because a person was unemployed for longer periods of time or they travelled alot outside of canada.

What additional documents if any should i send apart from the document checklist to avoid secondary review and give further detail proof of me being present here.Any advice will be very helpful.

I wish I knew the answers for your questions. Nobody knows why the secondary review is done or what the criteria they use. The period you lived in Canada before applying may be one of the factors.

I don't think you should send any additional documents other than the required ones. Just make sure the photocopy of your passport is a color photocopy and all the stamps are clear.

I made a specific inquiry ten days ago asking them how long will I have to wait for my pr card(SecRvw) to be completed. Just got their reply telling me only that YOUR CARD HAS BEEN SENT FOR PRODUCTION! 13 months now and maybe have to wait 5 more months for card production Does anybody recieved this kind of reply after making a specific inquiry? I still don't have access on ecas since last tuesday.

Congrats brent16 and clc70! let us know when you get the cards. I guess somebody got their christmas presents early! ;D

I called IRCC again today.

The agent told me that she is not aware of why I can't access my account online. She sent me an email with links to the help centre and suggested that I can email the website itself.

She also checked my application status and confirmed that my application is still being reviewed.

I was informed that my new card has been mail out yesterday, December 14, 2016.

Here is my timeline:-
1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on September 24, 2015. (Card expired March 2016)
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 9, 2016.
