Email from CIC London

I mailed the London High Commission for an update on my case. Surprisingly they replied:

"The Immigration Officer handling your file in currently on leave and will be back during second week of march. Kindly check back at a later date."

Seems weird to me, but not sure if this is how it works. What will happen if the IO goes on leave for 45 days, we wait until they return??????????????????

I have the same case same category 4131 etc. etc.
I haven't yet received any reply from chc-london after the aor.
my online statud is 'pending review'
would u advise me to e-mail them.

by the way what did you write in the mail
can u plz. post a format

Are they saying that they do not have anyone looking after the VO work. This is one funny answer! ;D

Well depends on when you applied and has it exceeded normal time of 2-3 months????

The reply really looks very weird. Coz anytime you mail them, they are quite professional in replying and with a proper format like Dear Bharath / Dear Sir etc etc etc ending with the signature of the Canadian High Comm.......

This mail dint have any of those things.....jst a 2 liner

Yes it is possible but what is not that they do not disclose it. It is funny
