I am sponsoring my spouse from US and when we filled up the application we had placed her email address on her part of the application and we chose email as a method of communication. However, right now she has a problem accessing her email so basically I realized recently through a call to my member of parliament that CIC had sent her two notices to pay the right of permanent residence fee, which we paid right away. So how can I change the email address for my wife if my application is being processed at CPC Ottawa?? I really dont want to miss anymore emails and get my application refused :( :(

Are you not able to call and notify CIC by calling them of the change?

Nope Ottawa case processing center does not have a phone number

I think the other poster means the call center, the main phone number for cic. your options are to call the call center, send a case specific inquiry to Ottawa, send a fax to Ottawa, and/or notify Ottawa by email as specified on the sponsor eligibily letter received by the sponsor. just paying the fee doesn't prove to CIC that it's paid. the receipt must be sent to Ottawa for the payment to be recognized. again, this is done by mail, fax or email. since your MP is already involved, you may want to consider having them forward the receipt to cic and confirm it's been receive. or, have your mp update CIC on the new email address.

Alright Thank you so much I will do that right away...You have been great help rhcohen2014 Thanks a lot. I already asked that same email question in my other post so you dont have to answer me again hahaha Thanks again

oops thats what I meant calling the CIC call center and making a correction
