Eligibility and process question

Hi All,

Could anyone please suggest what is the process of FSW. Like is it also same as CEC and PNP.

I am currently in Canada and have 5 years of work experience in one of the eligible occupation. Could I apply for FSW ? and would it help to extend my work permit. would they give any letter or something which could help to extend the work permit ?

You need to apply for the extension of your work permit and TRV to remain legally in Canada
and at the same time you can apply for the FSW program.

Check CIC website on how to extend work permit while you go ahead to also apply for the FSW.

So as in PNP and CEC they give a letter after 2 or 3 months and then people apply for work-permit extension based on that letter ? But this isn't possible in FSW ? Like what are the next steps when apply for FSW ?
