Hi All, I am completing my 1 year in feb so if now I register my profile .. I say less than a year for my work exp in Canada..which I beleive will give me less points...so Is it possible to update my profile later when completed 1 year of exp.

has same situation like us but , he/she gor eligible result so im very confused what are the real factors now. keep updated.

Hello,

Could someone please explain to me the logic behind the result for the first official language?
For better understand of my issue, I will explain.

I am single and I have chosen the first official language English.
My IELTS results are:

- listening: 7,5
- reading: 7,0
-writing: 7,5
- speaking: 7,0

According to the cic site I should have the following CLB levels:

- listening: CLB 8
- reading: CLB 9 and above
- writing: CLB 9 and above
- speaking: CLB 9 and above

Based on my calculations the points for the official language proficiency would be (CLB 8)+(CLB 9)+(CLB 9)+(CLB 9)=23+31+31+31=116

But after completing my EE profile, the system says that I have 119...meaning that for one of the modules it was considered CLB 10 and not CLB 9...but for which one and why not for all of them, except listening?

I have one more question:

In FSW point system, there are points mentioned only for Spouse's English Ability and there are no points mentioned for her education.
So by what point of time in the application do I need to get the ECA for my Wife's education qualification

And can you please confirm without my wife's ECA Can I submit my ECA profile

YOU CAN SUBMIT YOUR APP WITHOUT YOUR WIFE'S ECA BUT EVENTUALLY YOU WILL LOSE POINTS FOR THAT!

It's there in education and language section.. After you fill in your education, last question would be if you have got this education ECA assessed.. When you chose Yes, new set of questions would appear that will ask for ECA report details..

The very last question for every education you fill is "Whether your education is assessed by a certified body?"

It would appear for all the education High School/ Bachelors/ masters that you fill ..

Hey everybody,

Just some interesting information on EE, there are some big changes on the process compared to the FSW.

As soon as you get an Invitation to Apply:

- You pay the Processing Fees online with your credit card - less stressful process than today;
- You will need to submit only scanned copies of your documents - no stress with courier anymore;
- You would have to submit Medical WITH the application in order to be considered;
- PCCs will have to be submitted as well at the same time (if you need FBI PCC... you better run);
- They recommend that you pay the RPRF fees at the same time in order to speed things up;

So it's a big change - and I understand why they promise to process things faster. They will have everything on their hands, already on a digital form.

So I guess the local VO would only contact the applicant either for an Interview or with PPR straight.

I'm not in the US - but I've seen a couple of friends struggle with FBI PCC. Even one that may lose the PR on FSW.

I would assume that you need to put only bachelor or master degree here i.e what you have ECA for. Most probably if you have masters you will only get ECA for bachelor and master and not for high school diploma.

Hi Aarti,

Since you are on LMO, I assume you will say YES for arranged job offer, and everywhere it asks you for LMIA.
I am at the same positions and just wanted to check with someone else who has LMO.

It ask you if your work visa is valid and then if LMIA was required for the job. I assume YES here.
correct me if I am wrong
