EE Profile ineligible after updating NOC

I wanted to update the NOC on my application but once I made the change, I immediately got a message saying my profile was no longer valid. I have created another profile for the time being but I would lose on the time for which my earlier application was in the pool.

Should I write to CIC mentioning this? Can they restore my earlier profile? I had to indicate my previous EE profile number in the new application, is this something to worry about?
