EE PR Visa - how much time do you get to send passport?

I am just thinking ahead here, if your EE Application is approved, I believe you will get a letter that ask you to send your passport for them to apply a PR Visa after which you need to exit/re-enter Canada to "land".

My concern is, how much time would they allow you before you have to send your passport? My concern is because I have travels already planned for next year, and if timing is unfortunate my passport will be in limbo and it will screw up my travel plans.

They give you 30 days from moment you receive email to send them your passport. But they return it usually within week or two

If you are visa-exempt, you dont even need to send actual passport
