EE Personal Activities - The problematic periods of employment under a gap year

Hi!
I'm filling the sections of Personal Activities / Travel History and my history is long and in between a lot of countries SO I'm trying to find the best way of translating this into the forms in order to fill all the gaps.

In my personal case, my history is composed of brief periods of employment followed by extensive travel through different countries (worked for 3 months, head to 2 different countries the next few months, go back to work on a different job, and repeat).

I'm wondering if the best way to fill these sections is just to declare the period of unemployment regardless of the number of countries I visited (and just mention one in the box "country where the activity took place") and then use the Travel History to specify all those countries within that period of unemployment. This is what makes more sense to me.

For example:
2015-03 / 2015-06 Employment + details
2014-07 / 2015-03 Unemployment + details (traveling, mentioning just one of the countries I visited)
2014-03 / 2014-07 Employment + details

rather than
2015-03 / 2015-06 Employment + details
2015-01 / 2015-03 Unemployment + India
2014-10 / 2015-01 Unemployment + Thailand
2014-07 / 2014-10 Unemployment + Japan
2014-03 / 2014-07 Employment + details

Cause I feel this last method it's gonna build an unnecessary long Personal Activities history that will end up being pretty much repeated in the travel history section.
