Hi - I'm sure this topic would have been discussed many times, still I don't find an clear answer.. hope somebody can help me clarify -

Background:
Created EE profile on 21-Jan-2016
Received ITA on 27-Jan-2016
Submitted PR application on 5-Feb-2016

I have already did an upfront medical examination and got my Police Clearance certificate from Indian Consulate. I have nothing in my bucket unless Visa officer comes back with an request.

I have a situation that I might have to travel back to India in few days and I'm looking for some insights into -
1. Do I need to update my relocation details? If yes, where should and how should I communicate the new address?
2. Does it impact the current PR processing?

Your help is highly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi there,

there is nothing else you need to do before, during, or after your trip to India. It will not affect your PR application in whatsoever way. I understand your concern about obtaining a new police certificate; but remember, you'll need to obtain a police certificate only if you've stayed in a country/region that is not your home country for over six months.

Hope it helps!
