Pretty straighforward- by resitting for IELTS
Thank you for your prompt reply.

So, according to you, what should be my IELTS score in each skill to get to 470 CRS points?

470? I am sure that's not gonna happen just by retaking the ielts. Your score is pretty decent with a .5 left for listening to be in the top range (8.5-9).

451 points

L-8.0, R-8.0, W-7.5, S-7.5

How can I increase my points?
You have really impressive scores in IELTS..

You must re-take IELTS, now with CLB10 as your ultimate goal in all sections of IELTS

R:8.0 /W:7.5 / L:8.5 / S:7.5

for this you will get 32 points for each section having CLB10 score..

so IELTS will give you 32*4 = 128 points..
pls check how many points hike you can get with this.

wish you good luck for your PR application

If u get l 8.5 you will get 3 more points. That is the maximum. 454 is the maximum I guess
Unless you have "Two or more degrees" or "Masters degree" then you can get an additional 25 points if your CLB is 9

Let me guess, you are CEC Inland with one year experience, right?
Yeap, correct.

By the way, I have a question and I hope someone could have an answer.
I filled my wife's canadian work experience but counted as 0 on the CRS, does anyone know why?
I thought it's counted for some points at least.

Hello Friends,

I have a question regarding my express entry profile for Canadian Immigration. For now I have 444 ponits with 2 years of experience. 3 years of experience will make me get 469 points. I have 2 years and 9 months (Dec 2010 till September 2013) of work experience in my home country after I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Dec 2010. In October 2013, I went to Germany for my Masters that lasted for a duration of 2.5 years. After my Masters, I returned to my home country in February 2016 and started working in the same NOC. Now I have worked for 4 months after completing my Masters. So I want to ask that whether my old experience(2 years and 9 months) and new experience (4 months) make me eligible to claim the maximum points for foreign work experience of 3 years. However, it is written on CIC website that the 3 year of work experience should be continous. Therefore, I am confused that do I have to work for a full one year to make my experience a total to 3 years? Your response will highly appreciated and have a nice day. Thank you in advance.

Hi Deutschland,
Good news is that yes, you can..

Follow this link:
Skilled work experience
According to the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC), skilled work experience means:

managerial jobs (NOC skill level 0)
professional jobs (NOC skill type A)
technical jobs and skilled trades (NOC skill type B)
You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week.
Further to this, pls refer to this post similar to your situtation: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/work-experience-need-clarification-t297693.0.html;msg4356484#msg4356484

Good Luck for your PR application ! :)

Thank you Munjal. I appreciate your help. What i understood from the post of Asivad Anac is that we should have atleast one year of continous experience and the rest can have gaps like in my case. Please correct me if I am wrong. And plz tell how to give u +1 point. I cant find the button.
