Hi all. I'm filling out my EE profile and it asks for educational history. I got an ECA for my bachelor's degree only, not high school. So far so great. But do I need to enter my high school information in my profile, and in the future, if invited to apply, provide my High School diploma to CIC? without an assessment?

I ask because while updating my EE profile I realized I only provided educational history for my bachelor's degree. But I read again and under educational history it asks for secondary or post-secondary info. Did any of you provide information for your high school? I know there's an option to say you have one degree but didn't do ECA, and it won't affect your points as long as you got your highest education level an eca. But still, is it mandatory to fill out your secondary info??

No, your high-school diploma is irrelevant to your application - Only provide your ECA for your bachelors.

Just provide ECA for bachelors = ok.

But when filling out EE profile, under educational history, should I enter high school info? Even without an ECA? Wouldn't that be misrepresantation to not tell as it asks for secondary and post-sec educational history?

Once you receive your ITA you can state it in the personal history section if applicable.

Ok great! Thanks!!

Information prior to your 18th birthday is irrelevant. This usually includes high school / secondary.

I did not know that!
I guess there's another plataform once you receive an ita called personal history. I still haven't seen that one

Yes, they also ask for personal history, but only since your 18th birthday. Same for education, work, and travel histories.

Interesting! Hope I get an ITA tomorrow

No need of ECA for high school, but I would suggest that you put the information about your high school education in your EE profile under the education part, after you will fill the high school information, you ll be asked that "have you done ECA for this?" Choose No as your answer and you are good to go. Later stage also there is no harm in providing the CIC with your high school diploma, its better to include all your education properly.

WHat is your CRS score? and have you just created your file?

I should have clarified that personal, work, education, and travel histories are over the last 10 years or since your 18th birthday, whichever is closer to today's date.

Yes, ECA is only needed for post-secondary institutions where you have earned a degree or certificate.

Thanks!! I'll definitely do that, no harm in telling the truth right?

I was just worried they could cancel my process since I didn't get my High School diploma assessed - but now I know you only need ECA for your highest education. For all other levels you don't need ECA but must tell CIC under educational history about what degrees you earned, since theres an option to put NO ECA.

My score is 472. What's yours?
