Dear all,
Hi, I am from India .I have passed 10 years education (S.S.C) then I continued for 11th (higher secondary)and 12th (higher secondary)standard. I passed 11th standard ,but I was failed in 12th standard. Then I completed three years of diploma in Industrial Electronics. So I think I have complete 10 + 1 + 3=14 years of education.
So can I calculate 14 years of education?
I am waiting eagerly for application to be filed with CIC.
Please reply me immediately.
Any suggestions are appericiated.
Regards,
Bhadresh.

yes you can calculate 14 years of education.

No .u can not calculate 14 years because it is HSC after u have done both 11th and 12th so if not there is no degree for HSC ,so u can claim points 10 +3 = 13 so it is my conclusion ,may be i m wrong ,correct me if i m wrong thanks and takecare

Thank you for your replies, guys.
But still I am in confusion.
As there are two replies one is no and other is yes.
If I consider it is 14 years of education, How can I describe my 14 years of education in application.
One more thing I would like to tell you that, I have also studied Kg And senior Kg. Is that countable while evaluating education points.
More over, I have also completed one year Diploma in business management from chamber of commerce and industry (education division). Can I calculate its time as one year extra to my education?
It was instructed 18 hrs a week for one year part time. It is not shown on certificate as part time. But I think I can get document from chamber of commerce about the instruction time. May I calculate that year? I am working as manager now.
Hope you guys will reply me again.I am really confused. Please reply.
Regards,
Bhadresh.

if i were you, I would find get the passing certificate / marks sheet of my class 11 and get a letter from my class 11 school that I had passed that grade.

you should consider 14 years.

The mention of years of education is in no. of years and not passing milestones.

Well OP has 14 year of education but no university degree then how can he be awarded 20

Dear All,
How will visa issuing officer will calculate?
Do they calculate 14 years or 13 years?
Can I also show the Kg and sr. Kg as educational years? If yes, will officer consider this as education years? And what about my diploma in business management years?
Waiting for your reply.
Regards,
Bhadresh.

Bhadresh,

Give me a breakdown of the number of years you spent in school including the year(S) you failed.
You have a 3 years diploma and depending on the no of years you spent in (full time) school, you may actually be looking at 22 points. (SMILE)

Dear Mr
what will you do with the 14 degree to reach 67 degree

just ask to help

Dear Mr Rupesh Hari,
You too please give me the guidance after going through all of my post.
Regards,
Bhadresh.

is your second diploma one year part time or one year full time equivalent.

If part time, then you get the points for 14 years of education. if full time, you will get 22 points.

I am not counting kindergarten but I could be wrong with that.

Dear Rupeshhari,
Thankyou for your prompt reply.
My second diploma is part time, and it is done with chamber of commerce and industry (education division) May be it is not countable. If I provide the certificate of 18 hrs of instruction per week , will it consider as full time?
As some where I have read that 15 hrs a week would be consider as full time.

I am just looking for 20 points of education.

Can you please tell me, How will visa issuing officer will calculate?

Regards,
Bhadresh.

I am not sure how they count. Lets wait for BobbyB to answer. he is much more knowledgeable. Perhaps your second diploma is like full time diploma but you did it part time.

Is diploma form chamber of commerce recognized in your country.
