No doubt its the very best to go for WES, but since you have short time and access to HEC which is also common in many countries with International recognition its better to go for it.

J...

oh yes, for sure. Only, you have to know what HEC is. When I went through the process I didn't know about it.

Anyway, do you think the immigration office would accept the WES official assessment?

G.

I believe they will, since its a US based International recognition they will. But one thing i know that if degree is valid and genuine, no body can challenge it any where. Its in your favor if you have already done that.

Hi
i hope everyone understand here now that only transcript need in sealed university envelope not degree certificate.

Saeed

Saeed,

the transcript does include both your academic background and your degree certificate.

For example, the transcript of your BsC is the legal evidence that you have got that degree. It is, in other words, a degree certificate that includes your academic background: exams, etc...

I am still confused.

After i passed exam, they sent me DMC (Detail Marks Cert Or you can call it, Transcript), then after some months, i got my degree. I have both now and i have already opened them and they are not in any Envelope which is sealed, I thought there is a sealed emboss stamp on degree they required. Because they cant re issue any of above certificates 2nd time unless you have lost them.

What you guys think?

Regards,

J...

first. I'm afraid that the DMC could not be enough. They want something that certifies you have got the degree (degree certificate) and lists the exams you did to get it (DMC). Obviously your transcript/s must carry the University official seal.

They want the transcript provided in an University sealed envelop. It means that the envelop must be closed and show an University seal on it. In other words they want to be sure that, at the time they receive the documents, nobody could have opened the envelop.

Unfortunately, you have opened your envelop. But check once more if the envelop was sealed. You could go back to the University and explain them what happened and ask them if they can put the documents in a new sealed envelop. Otherwise, you can tell them that you have lost everything and need a new copy.

Hi

if you can read below means "in bold "Transcript of all degrees (if degrees include in transcripts then what this line means)"

you can read it in visa office specific instruction page no. 4. below is information which is on page 4 :

6. EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS
For you and your spouse or common-law partner:
• Post-secondary education documents: vocational or technical certificates or
diplomas;
• College or university documents: certification of completion and the
graduation degree, diploma, or certificate issued by the college or university and
the evaluation committee;
Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university sealed
envelopes.

• Professional qualifications certificates: notarized professional qualifications
certificates should be submitted if available. (e.g., Engineer, Computer
Programmer, Accountant, Economist, Translator/Interpreter, Architect etc.)

What is a Transcript?

The gist of this discussion is not the meaning of the word transcript but that it must be provided in an University sealed Envelop.

The transcript can be different among countries and universities: mine, which I submitted to get my credentials assessed, was a degree certificate with the list of all of my exams, marks etc.... Basically the same document included both the degree and its transcript.

And do you know what? As they asked for both the degree and the transcript, just like the immigration does, I had to provide them with two identical copies of the same thing.

cheers, G.

Jawad

don't worry, having two official copies of the transcript does not mean you have two degrees

obtaining official, sealed, copies of degree transcripts is very common, your university will know what you want

I am still confused.

See, DMC is transcript as well, here in Pakistan, you get 2 certficates after degree.

After you pass degree first they send you that Transcript or Detail Marks Sheet, in which they mention all subjects and your Credit hours or GPA etc...

For here, many of companies give you job on that DMC and a letter from University that XYZ person have already applied for degree.

Once they send you degree, you show them original degree and submit required copy.

Some companies just ask you degree, but DMC is needed in both conditions.

My point is:

I got my DMC then my Degree a year back, and i opened envelope and watched it and copying it already for different puropses. How come that time i could know that we need any Sealed envelope?

Do you guys want to say that i will go again to University and ask them to give me both of my Certs in sealed envelop again?

Regards,

J...

you need to get a sealed transcript from your university.

have you checked the specific visa instructions (stage 4 ) for your country?

they have different instruction for different countries.

I watched it already, and they are saying should be in University Sealed Envelope. I dont know from where to get that if you already open it for other purposes. Any ways, i will talk to University what they can do for me regarding this issue.
