Edit a sentence in Letter

Hey guys so im almost done uploading my documents and I noticed in one of my ref letters my name and some other spellings have been spelt wrongly by my company....Idk why. So I just want to change those without asking my company because they take too long to get back to me.. is this something that's ok to do? I dont want anyone thinking I am doing something fraudulent or something.....whats the opinion?

I would recommend not to do any modifications. You can put in LOE and mention in details. You should be fine.

No, it's not acceptable in any circumstances to edit letters from others that you are submitting.

While you are doing it to correct a spelling error, if a visa officer finds out, they will wonder what else you've edited.

@k.h.p. I have a quick question on sibling proof of residence. My wife's blood sister is a PR since 2017 living here in canada. We have claimed 15 pts. As per cic requirements we have to provide proof of address for her like utility bill etc. She does not have utiliy bill on her name. Its on her husband's name. However I can provide her salary slip & bank statement . Can u pls guide if it is acceptable by cic?
