Is it possible that ecas is activated without AOR. If yes how we can see that. Do we have to use the PR card # and is it the same website where citizenship applications are checked?

yes it's the same client Id= UCI. Just try it and it might work

I tried it haha! I'm so ready to be tracking. But no dice. I just sent mine in on March 21.

ECAS will not work without an AOR because once you get the AoR email it means they are either in process of entering the information into the system or have just entered it in. If you try to log in before AoR the system will just say cannot find any information.

My timeline:

Sent application: March 16, 2015
Delivered: March 23, 2015
E-Cas activated: March 24, 2015 ( status received )
AOR: ?

Have you checked your email? They started sending in Email AoR's around Nov 2014, I got mine via email.

What your eCAS got activated just one week after sending your application ? This so good news but strange at the same time. Are you on Urgent Processing or something ?

@ AsianIndian,

Strange but true, no im not...it seems that cic open my application right after they received it and enter in the computer system.

Citizenship status:

1. We received your payment, along with one or more citizenship applications. To find out how long it takes to process a routine application, please consult the Application Processing Times.

This is not generally the message you get when you check ecas. Did you try to search for your application using UCI/Client ID number which is printed on the front of PR card?

By any chance did you order the form IMM 5401 for payment and are you using IMM 5401 to check your e-cas?
