Hey guys,
Is ecase down for everybody or just me?, I tried to get to ecase yesterday and the day before but it said that the SSL certificate expired, and that it is not safe to proceed.
so did anybody else encounter this problem?

You are correct. It expired on 31st March.

Do you have any idea how long it will take them to renew it?

I'm shocked that they let it expire at all. If this is any indication of just how much care they take, it could be a while.

Thanks for your reply and hope you an easy and smooth process, God bless you.

"Proceed Anyway"......it's trusted website, and you do have anti virus right?

Yeah they should be pretty embarrassed about that one.

Well it is a trusted website but when it happened before and i called the call center they advised me not to proceed. Yes I do have an anti virus but to be honest i don't trust it lol.

You called the call center for that?

No wonder it's so hard to get through.....note that they probably have no idea about IT, and are just call center clerks.....

"proceed anyway"....

You got me wrong here, I mean when this happened before I called them because it was not working for me but working for my wife.

I tried to email them, you know it has the link to email the tech people? I got a reply saying the link they provide to email tech support is for case specific enquiries only. ??? The whole website is a shambles.

Still jumped the gun on calling them...

This has nothing to do with immigration procedures as far as the call center is concerned....and even if it did...ecas is unreliable anyway, and shouldn't be the major concern of anybody. Besides...I'd rather them working on apps than updating ecas.

The resources on the forum are of much greater value.

Please leave the lines open for real problems.

Note that if your computer security software is up to date, your fine.

They did say that too to send the information about my file and provide them with 2 screenshots of the problem

I agree, calling CIC won't do anything.

Will computer security software make a difference to encryption?
