ECAS

For some time now my application status has not been available on ECAS. The last time I communicated with CIC (about 3 months ago) I mentioned it in the correspondence but nothing happened. They replied to the other questions in the email but not about the ECAS.

I realise that the ECAS information is somewhat useless but should I press the issue with CIC to have it corrected?

Hey Lubs64, I sent them an email on Wednesday of last week but of course they have not replied to date.

I checked their website earlier and it still has not been fixed.. This is the 3rd time that I am reporting it to them but I really don't think that it makes a difference.

I suspect that with the re-opening of the FSWP this month cases like ours are thrown on the backburner again. We are all going to need psychiatric help at the end of this

Update, I just tried checking it using my UCI number instead of my application number ( I saw that on a post on another forum) and it worked.

Of course it still does not say anything more than "In Process" and the date the application was received.

Well mine shows the same aswell from last 3 years

Mine has said in Process since November 2007 (almost 6 years now).... that's why I had said earlier the information on ECAS was useless. I was just concerned why I could not see it any more.

It is strange though that up to late last year I was able to check it with my application file number but now I can only see it using the UCI number which incidentally I only know my UCI number from ordering CAIPS... CIC never gave me that number. The timing almost seems like it coincides with when I submitted my last set of documents in August 2012.

My status said ' In Process' from last 2009.
