eCAS has been observed not in sync often with the true state of the application. Updates are quite often delayed. Sometimes they do get it right. To get more details on the application, a combination of GCMS notes + eCAS and responses from VOs (if they respond) are used. There is a lack of information linking these indications/lines in eCAS to what actual processing has been done on the application - a lot of things have been done between getting a line "application received" and getting another line "medicals have been received" but no details can be gleaned from what eCAS is showing.
Don't just rely on what eCAS shows.
