ECAS lookup before AOR

How are people looking their application up in ECAS without the application number or UCI (provided with AOR, I assume)? Can you use the temporary number? Can you use the payment receipt number?

You can use the Temp numner without the X or your Payment Receipt number, the status will only show in ECAS if your file is already in system and AOR is a few days away

If I use the temp number without X, do i put the name DOB AND plaCe of birth of PA or Sponsor?

You can do either. PA info will show just the status of their part of the application. If you use the Sponsors info it will show both people’s status.

some applicants may have a UCI even before receiving an AOR
