Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding education assessment.

I have finished medical school. I am also a specialist with 5 years of extra education on radiology. I also have two fellowships in USA and Canada. On top of that I am an associate prof of radiology which is given by a interuniversity council after file evaluation and an oral exam. (I have the certificate). I only get ECA credientials for medical school (which is equivalent to master's degree) and nothing for any of the above. That seems a bit unfair.

I would like to ask if I can get more points for my additional traning (equivalent to Phd) perhaps?
I was wondering if it is possible to get my associate profossorship evaluated and gain crediantials for that one at least. I know that the system is different in Canada but this is an extra degree in Turkey.

No residency does not qualify as another degree. A PhD is nothing like the residency program. Medical school should be considered a professional degree not a masters degree. Did you have to do a 8 month a year full-time course to become a professor? If that was the case then you should get the program assessed.
